EarthByte is an international e-research project aimed at implementing interoperability of plate tectonic data and geodynamic computing services for applied and fundamental research purposes.
I strongly recommend everybody with an interest in Earth and Computing to have a deep look to this web site.

I should say I’m proud of introducing my friend’s weblog who is an academician. I like very much his personality that I sure would help anybody to feel very friendly and to find him very positive person.
His background is Mining Engineering. I can say I’m enjoying from working with him on our common interests as two academic young persons.

Today at UQ there was the final stage of a competition called “3 minute thesis“.
One guy presented “Economics of happiness” in which he presented the following statement:
What makes people happy?
- Family life
- Employment & unpaid work
- Age
- Health
- Freedom & Control
- Sex (quality versus quantity)
- Meaning-of-life or blissful ignorance
I’m not sure he was right but it worth to pay attention to his answers.

An illusion is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. While illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people. Illusions may occur with more of the human senses than vision, but visual illusions, optical illusions, are the most well known and understood. [Wikipedia]
Here you can find some interesting illusions:

I’m very delighted to introduce my friend, who is a scientist in Earth Sciences from Iran. He is a very active person in his expertise as academician and industrial expert too. We have worked on many projects together and I always was proud of being his colleague and surely many times as his student.
You can find more information about him from his personal website:
Enjoy from being in contact with scientists and good luck.
